For a city of it's size Sydney has a remarkable amount of bush and green space. I've taken every opportunity to explore many of these places on foot and on bike since I have been here. The last three days have seen the city hit by a heavy rain so being a photographer and curious about what the bush looks during a heavy rain I walked
through Cove Creek Reserve. And the forest (as we Americans call bush) is just radiant with green; the trees, rocks just about everything, but the water in the streams is green. There was no one else on the trails during my two hour foray and too bad because this is probably the bush showing it's best color. Here are a few of the photos from yesterday in the rain. That's me in the photos I wasn't able to find anyone on short notice who wanted to go out and get soaked.
